By accessing or using LearnBridge ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all users, including but not limited to teachers, students, administrators, and visitors.

2. Description of Services

LearnBridge provides an AI-powered educational platform that offers:

•AI-generated lesson plans and assessments
•Interactive quizzes and live quiz hosting (Kahoot-style)
•Professional development courses for educators
•Student learning tools (flashcards, study planners, AI tutoring)
•Document management and curriculum resources
•Gamification features (XP, badges, leaderboards)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

You must register for an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Email Verification

You must verify your email address to activate your account and access full features of the platform.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

✗Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
✗Share your account credentials with others
✗Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
✗Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
✗Use automated systems to access the platform without permission
✗Harass, abuse, or harm other users
✗Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

5. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and upload to the platform (lesson plans, quizzes, documents). By uploading content, you grant LearnBridge a license to use, store, and display it for providing services.

5.2 Platform Content

All platform design, features, code, and AI models are owned by LearnBridge and protected by intellectual property laws.

5.3 Third-Party Content

Educational resources and curriculum documents remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

6. AI-Generated Content

6.1 AI Assistance

LearnBridge uses AI to generate educational content including lesson plans, assessments, and study materials. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be reviewed by educators before use.

6.2 No Warranty

We do not warrant that AI-generated content is error-free or suitable for all educational contexts. Users are responsible for verifying accuracy and appropriateness.

6.3 Usage Rights

You may use AI-generated content for educational purposes within your institution. Commercial redistribution is prohibited without written permission.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Free and Paid Features

LearnBridge offers both free and premium features. Pricing and features are subject to change with notice.

7.2 Billing

For paid subscriptions, you agree to pay all fees as described at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

7.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and educational data privacy regulations.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using account deletion features.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnBridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
